Thom Burgess, the talented mind behind Malevolents and Ghoster, has done it again! His latest terrifying venture, The Eyrie, is exactly what fans of the surpernatural have been waiting for. This graphic novella is 40 pages of macabre at it’s finest. A definite page turner, the book delivers a story that leaves the reader with a well crafted anxious feeling which boils over into fear. Burgess’ tale is exceptionally paired with the haunting artwork of Barney Bodoano. Bodoano’s grayscale art is beautiful and adds so much to the overall tone of the book. The Eyrie also features a great forward written by acclaimed actor/writer/producer Reece Shearsmith.
It grabs you from the start and demands that you follow the narrative to it’s spine tingling conclusion. – Reece Shearsmith
